Cost of listing

• R350 per annum.
• Pay-per-click

Up to a maximum of R50 per six-month period, which equates to 500 click throughs to your pop-up in any given period for a standard initial click through rate of 10 cents.

What does your fee include?

The directory is, as it stands, one of the most comprehensive information sources for tourists visiting Cape Town. This Includes:

• A search engine style listing under defined categories or searchable directly through the search bar, which will include a mini description and a link to:
• A pop-up window, dedicated solely to your organisation, including your Logo, 4 pictures, a detailed description of your offering, a link to your website, should you have one, and contact details.
• We further allow customers to enquire about your service via a "let experiencecapetown.com enquire and book for you" button
• This then adds your establishment to an innovative enquiry cart mechanism which allows us to source rates and availability and then resubmit the enquiry back to the client within 24 hours
• The client can then instantly pay for this should they decide to accept the quotation. Quotations are valid for 1-3 days dependent on category in which supplier resides.
• Payment is made to experiencecapetown.com and forwarded on, less a 10% commission.
• A bi-annual report of the site's stats showing a profile of the sites users.

What is pay-per-click?

We also offer a first in South Africa. An advanced "pay-per-click" back end allows you to manipulate your listing should you wish to appear at the top, through a bidding system.

All entries are set to a default of 10 cents per click. Should you want to be listed at the top of the list, in a given category, you can opt to pay incrementally more "per click". For example, if you decide to pay 11 cents per click and all other entries are paying 10 cents, your listing will go to the top!

You can easily monitor what others are paying as it is displayed in brackets next to the name line of each entry. As an example, in the case of accommodation listings, this allows you to manipulate your listing in times of vacancies and appear at the top of certain chosen categories (i.e. Guest house, camps bay) when you are full you can go back to the standard 10 cents rate.

It is important to note that every time a surfer clicks through to your pop up window it is added up and billed on a bi-annual basis. This means, should a surfer click on the link to your pop-up window, and you are set at 10cents, you will pay 10 cents each time they click.

Competitors have the opportunity to outbid each other as much as they wish, to remain at the top. Remember, you only pay this if people click on your link! This is billed once every 6 months and details the number of clicks you have received.

If you do not want to participate in the pay-per-click system you may also appear as a standard listing, which will appear below the pay-per-click listings. Clients will however still be able to click through to your information as per the other listings.
